A learning and skills development programme leading to a level 4 qualification, nationally recognised and accredited by City and Guilds
If your role means that you offer in depth advice or guidance to customers, clients or service users, to help them make informed decisions or access services to meet their individual needs, or if you are a line manager providing supervision and other management support, then this programme will enhance your skill development and knowledge. You will need to work face to face with your customers or team to be able to achieve the learning outcomes within the qualification. Alongside the mandatory units, a full range of optional units are offered.
This programme can be delivered as on-line only, face to face or a blended learning approach.

The programme will include:
A series of taught input sessions covering Induction to the award
Advice and guidance models, framework and practice including communication skills, goal setting, motivational interviewing, solution focussed work and coaching
Action planning and reviewing agreed targets and outcomes
Managing caseload and the impact of outcomes of work
Keeping work safe and ethical
Advocacy, brokerage, networks and negotiation
Supporting others to develop and learn
Plus workshops to support a range of optional units and a final portfolio building session
Individual learner support from an experienced assessor and facilitator
Individual assessment in your workplace
Materials to facilitate evidence generation for the level 4 Advice and Guidance qualification
