Change and Transition- What we can do to manage change rather than be managed by it
About the programme
Aims and Outcomes
The programme has been developed to provide a one day learning experience tailored to meet the individual situations and needs of a wide range of staff. The programme is aimed at helping staff and managers link their own situations with strategies, tools and techniques to help stay ahead of and successfully navigate change within the workplace. The programme will contain a mix of well established frameworks and models as well as some newer approaches building on models of resilience and nudge.
By the end of the programme participants will have had the opportunity to:
Consider the context and background of change within organisations- helping see change as essential for organisations to manage risk and stay relevant and current
Explore the differences between change and transition and how this plays out in workplace situations. This will be linked to relevant case studies and individual reflection
Practice a range of self managing tools and frameworks including Kubler-Ross and the Brealey framework
Develop a greater understanding of issues and barriers to managing transitions and looking at what individuals and organisations can do to rethink transition management
Explore role modelling and how this can impact on individual, team and organisationl behaviours. How we can change the script using nudge theories of change
Consider and apply strength based models of development in order to build resilience and protective factors when faced with change
This programme can be delivered as an on-line only, face to face or a blended approach to learning.
